About Helmet Hair – Motorcycle Blog

Helmet Hair is a weblog (blog) about motorcycles published by Jesper Bram, Copenhagen, Denmark.

All entries are motorcycle related. No pictures of granny’s puppy or uncle Stew’s wedding. Motorcycles are one of my biggest passions; race bikes, touring bikes, cruisers or choppers, I don’t care as long as it’s got two wheels and an engine.

I strive to try every motorcycle I get my hands on. Usually when new models arrive, the dealers get demo bikes to let potential buyers try before they buy. I use this opportunity to try bikes I might consider to buy in the future. That was originally (in 2004) how this motorcycle blog got the form it has today,  - as the place where I made notes of the bikes I’d try, so I could share it with others and keep record of my opinion. Before that, since 2001, it was just my personal riding journal.

People started to come around, and I switched to writing in English (instead of Danish). Now it’s not only about the motorcycles I try, but also about things I find interesting from a motorcycle point of view, along with my own escapades like: road trips, rallies, track days and a bit of bitching about the weather.

Please kick those boots up and dig around. You are more than welcome to join the conversation and leave replies wherever you find the urge. Should comments not cut it for you and you want to call me an arse to my face, you can always shoot me an email at editor@helmethairblog.com. I’ll usually get back to you quicker than you think.

My current motorcycles
1973 Harley Davidson FLH 1200 Shovelhead
2003 Honda CB900F Hornet (Honda 919 in U.S.)
