Rossi on a Hornet 900 (Honda 919)

As a Honda CB900F / Hornet 900 / Honda 919 owner I couldn’t let this one pass. This is a tv commercial with Valentino Rossi from when he was still with Honda. My guess is that it’s from 2003 where the CB900F / Hornet 900 / Honda 919 was first introduced.

This is a great video…thanks for posting! The 919 was introduced in 2002, at least that’s the year it became available in the U.S. That’s when I bought mine new off the dealer floor.
You can buy them in the USA? I read last year (2006) in a bike magazine that they were not going to sell them in the USA. It’s a nice looking bike. Is it comfortable for extended rides?
It was great to see Rossi on a nine one nine. If you are thinking about getting a fast bike you’d be hard pressed to find more bike for the money. It is reliable,fast, and handles well.
