Continuing where we left of yesterday, with videos of Triumph, Harley, Ducati, Buell, and Benelli, here’s the videos from the crotch rocket producing and MotoGP wining manufacturers. They might not have the class and desirability of the western produced motorcycles. But they don’t care, because they win, and they win fast. If you want power and reliability that will take you to the moon and back, this is where you’ll look.
Now lets see what anorexic and horse power crazed motorcycles they plan to inject into public traffic in 2007.
A new 600 Hornet, about time, but has it lost or gained in the edge and aggressiveness that used to classify the model? Very short glimpse of the new CBR 600 RR, Honda’s fierce and desirable smaller sibling to the legendary CBR 1000 RR “Fireblade”.
Notice how Kwak have turned up the coolness on the sport bikes. Exhausts etc. is all flat black with just the neon green and orange paint jobs to make it pop. I think it looks insanely sweet, it just oozes “no show and all go”. The new Versys is there as well, going to be a big seller I think.
A slightly updated R1, venerable big brute XJR now in Yamaha retro paint job. The nice motorcycles are all from last year, MT-03 (still on my wish list), FZ1 etc. They stole the light last year with their all new models, so I guess it’s ok to take it easy next year. But what the heck is that TDM 900 doing there?
Anything that will get you pulse up here is the new B-King, or should it be B-Prince. As far as I understand most of the oomph they boasted with the prototype, a few years ago, is mostly gone. What’s left is just a pretty funky sort of Lego like look. But I wouldn’t mind one of them GSXRs if they have some to spare.
That’s it from Japan, not overly exiting, but with a few goodies tugged away here and there. If you ask me, this red and black Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R is the most sexy thing since Sabrina (an 80’s pop idol), in her legendary boys boys boys music video
