Yes, you got it right, a MotoGP board game. No gaming console, computer or hand held game gizmo needed to play it. Don’t know if you still remember what a board game is, but its one of those things that come in a box with a lot of pieces and a board. You move the pieces around on the board by hand and you don’t need an Internet connection to play multiple players. Yup! it’s true, quite amazing isn’t it? and to believe the concept was invented several thousand years ago.
The wait is finally over
Someone finally invented a MotoGP board game, it’s about time. I’ve been waiting for that ever since I put my motorcycle in the garage for the winter. How many motorcycle board games do you know of, not many is it? I did a quick search on the phenomenon and found only two other combatants; a super cross board game, and a American Choppers pimped up version of Monopoly. I think we can conclude that the new MotoGP board game certainly hits a dry spot.
But the question is
How do I convince my board game playing friends (yes, I actually have some) that they should cast aside their Axis and Allies or what not, and play this game with me instead. Motorcycles is not really their thing, so they might not be as enthusiastic about it as I am. Maybe I’ll just tell them it won some kind of board game award, that’s certain get them interested.
Here’s the ad the company has flowing around in the video sphere. It’s in Spanish, so I don’t understand a clue.
