Then again it might actually prove useful, but not being waterproof is a no go, at least if you want your digital camera, phone, blackberry or purse to survive the german winter without beeing drenched.

I would rather recommend something like the Kriega R3 waistpack, which is waterproof and designed for motorbikers.

The Kriega stuff is a little steep in price and not easily bought outside the UK or USA, but it’s the best you can get.
