Custom motorcycles have been around since you grandfathers dad was an itch in his fathers pants. But usually when we think of a custom motorcycle, we think of choppers or bobbers. The last couple of years the custom motorcycle industry has exploded, helped out by home entertainment TV. Now everyone wants a custom bike, even the squids.

A typical modification that has appeared so much lately that it’s safe to call it a trend is Hayabusas with extended swing arms and very fat tires. From a handling perspective it’s of course totally useless, but still, you have to admit it looks kinda wicked, and if drag racing is your thing I guess it serves a functional purpose as well.
