The good people from Sturgis Rally has provided me with tickets for all three concerts at Sturgis. But since I’m not going, I’ve decided to give away the tickets to you. It’s not that I don’t want to go, but I’m on the other side of the pond and bringing my bike and everything to Sturgis is not the plan this summer.

I’m giving all tickets to the same person, so if you plan on going to Sturgis, comment to this post, and remember to use an email where I can get a hold of you. After a couple of days I’ll randomly pick the winner among the comments, and contact you for your info.

While you wait, check out this Sturgis Widget you can put on myspace or where ever, and a message from the Sturgis people.

    Hi HelmetHair Blog Chap!

When I saw your offer, I thought I’d give it a go. My friend and neighbor has been trying to get me to go to Sturgis for years, and I’ve always resisted.

But I’m a sucker for good music and I have to admit that the riding scenery out there is gorgeous from what I’ve seen. So if I win the tickets, I’ll finally be able to tell my best friend that my wife and I will tag along with him and his wife. And in return for his route guidance, I’ll bring them and my wife to the four Rock’n Rally Shows!

    Thanks for considering me!

    -Ken

I would use them to pay it forward. Use them for a raffle or benefit of motorcyclist rights as these are the people we are trying to protect from all sorts of bad legislation.
    Thanks,
    Mike

Sounds like a great time. Too bad you won’t be going. I’m looking forward to heading out there myself. Its been a few years since I’ve made the trip to Sturgis.

Before gas prices went crazy, me and 3 other girls rented a house in Deadwood for 10 days – paid in advance. To trailer the bikes, we’d spend a fortune. We have no other choice but to ride all the way from the East Coast (Delaware) – no guys, no cage. While it’s really exciting (all about the journey!), had we anticipated the rising cost of EVERYTHING, we wouldn’t be going. We’re all single moms, which makes this trip tough financially, yet so significant on the other hand! But, one of the girls lost her job so we’re all chipping in to pay her expenses. This trip isn’t JUST a “trip.” We’re all finding ourselves again – our independence and strength. Funny I should come across this tonight. We just recently decided not to purchase any concert tickets to save money. None of us have been to Sturgis, so we were pretty bummed out. Felt that saving out $ for gas so we could see the sights took priority over concerts. We’d be so grateful…..

    Hi,

Thanks for offering up the tickets. I am really interested in going to the concert. My wife and I live in Muscat, Oman where we teach at an international school. We will be back in eastern South Dakota this summer, where we have a place. I won’t grovel too much but I am a life long Kiss fan who would truly appreciate the show and it would be a chance to see the festivities at Sturgis, which would be a first. We have friends teaching in Muscat who happen to be in Custer in the summer, so we would go with them. Anyway, thanks for offering the tickets.
