Danish motorcycle nostalgia

My friend Lutz from Germany recently sent me this awesome photo. He shot it back in 1974 when he was 14 years old and in Denmark for summer camp.
He’d seen choppers in magazines and heard rumors of their existence. But this was the first time he saw one for real.
Lutz have been hooked ever since, and at the moment he’s building himself an Ironhead (first sportster engine) chop.
When did you know what type of motorcycles you where into?
I don’t have a clear recollection of exactly when and what. But when I was a kid I had a poster of a Harley with all the bells and whistles (must have been a FLH), right next to my Sam Fox poster.
So I guess I’ve always been into cruisers, and choppers. Wasn’t until later on that I found out that’s sport bikes are just as fun in their own way.
The first time I ever saw a BSA Gold Star as a kid… love at first sight! I like sports bikes too, but love the old Brits like BSA and Norton (if not their reliability!)
Old bikes look very unique bt nw sports bike looks very hot 🙂
OMG, this picture is amazing ! I like the vintage pictures, but this is awseome.
