Excellent supermotard video

Supermotards, a crossover between a motocross motorcycle and a race bike, are getting increasingly popular. Almost all the major manufacturers have a supermotard in their program for 2007. Even BMW, who is normally know to be for the more conservative and mature audience, have supermotard’ish motorcycles in their line-up. It’s still brands like KTM and Husqvarna that rules the game however.
Here’s a video of some guys going nuts on supermotards.
Heh-heh… What’s up with the guy on the green Supermotard, doing a 360?!?! That’s NUTS!! And how do you get that idea, and start practicing it?! I wonder………..
Maybe he crashed in a pile of tubes, accidentally did a somersault, and thought “hey! that was fun”.
I love these bikes……I think they’d be perfect for city use. I had a sportbike and had to worry about speed bumps and road imperfections–on one of these i’d hit the gas and rumble over anything that didn’t require dirt-bike tire traction! I’m saving up for a Ducati…….
You’re right, Joe, they are perfect for the city. Are you saving for the Hypermotard?
Yes, that’s the plan, although i’m curious to see what the other majors are going to be offering. The Ducati has a great combo of looks and functionality, though “bang for the buck” doesn’t usually come to mind. I have a few months to decide!
Good luck, Joe. Make sure to let us know what you decide.
i really love this extreme sport.in my country only 2 years has start racing.I participate 2 race with aprilia svx 5.50.
Actually, at least here in the US, Honda rules the Supermoto game on the track. I’d say Suzuki on the Street with the DRZ. KTM is in there somewhere too.
Joe
As a combat Marine this is what I faught for!! The right to have fun in a manner that does not offend but instead opes doors that would not normaly be so. Be Blessed! Andrew
Hmm is anyone else having problems with the images on this blog loading? I’m trying to find out if its a problem on my end or if it’s the blog. Any responses would be greatly appreciated.
