Just a quick announcement to celebrate that Helmet Hair – Motorcycle Blog reached 500 subscribers this morning.

Thanks a lot to all of you who subscribe. Finding things to post about that has not been posted a zillion times on other blogs and is not boringly personal, can some times be quite the task. Seeing the number of subscribers steadily increase is very motivating and proves that I’m not the only one who prefers quality over quantity.

That’s the beauty of RSS and subscribing. You just add the feed to your reader, and forget about it until it says there’s new posts. Sites like this one that is rarely updated more than once a week, would be a pain in the ass to keep up with without subscribing.

Again, thank you for subscribing. I’ll do my best to keep posting only the best stuff about motorcycles, that we all like to read.

It’s too bad the blog is not as good as its potential =/ Just being straight.

As a rider, I’d prefer more active and more motorcycled posts. Rides, reviews, opinions, fun, so much more.

Just because this one seems to be better than the rest, it still is the worst blog in my reader (others are of technological kind though)

If there’s anything I can assist with – drop me a line!

Thanks for the straight forward feedback, Silver.

You’re more than welcome to contribute.

There’s a few other people sending me their ride reports etc. from time to time.

If you stumble upon anything you might find relevant. Just send it to helmethairblog@gmail.com

I’ve been enjoying your blog for many months now. I admit, at first I was a bit mouthy, maybe even arrogant when I posted comments, but I thought you were just another butt-head biker-wanna-be from across the pond. To me your blog was nothing more than a place I could vent the frustration of a long winter while shit-faced.

I learned quickly Jesper, that you not only post good reading material and pics, but you’ve impressed me as being someone I would try to contact if I were ever in your country.

I still get shit-faced when I read Helmet Hair but that’s just cause my brain functions better that way. It also helps to colorize my comments a bit.

So Jesper… keep on writing and posting and who knows, before long you’ll have millions of readers. After all, these words reach around the world… right?

Oh, and don’t be afraid to leave comments on my site once in a while:

I have to share this with you guys! The coolest way to blaze the roads on your motorcycle and ensure that other motorists notice you…is to check this place out – http://www.ironhorsehelmets.com ,they have some of the coolest bling for your helmets. We all have to be safe out there, but we can have fun doing it! One of the greatest benefits is the fact that YOU ARE NOTICED! It is shown that the majority of our motorcycle accidents are due to other motorists…who say they DO NOT SEE US!, lets throw that excuse out their window! Yeah I know the famous t-shirts all you fellows wear that say “If You Can Read This…The Bitch Fell Off” are the only accessory you feel you need, but I have to say, there is something hot about a guy with a Mohawk…..especially a purple one! I wear mine and I love it, I get lots of attention, not that a lady on a bike does not anyway…but the more the better! The helmets are affordable and I plan on getting a few for my riding buddies for Christmas gifts, I want to keep them safe, and I do think this is a cool way to do it….make motorcycle helmet wearing fun.
