Maybe you already own a Versys, or maybe you’re like me and sort of curious about the bike. Anyway you have to go check out KawasakiVersys.com.
As the site administrator puts it:
“It’s a new community site for those interested in discussing the Kawasaki Versys motorcycle. Versys Owners as well as any other motorcycle enthusiasts that respects the Kawasaki motorcycle legacy are welcome. Browse the Kawasaki Versys Forum, post videos, post technical questions, share videos & photos, and much more.”
I haven’t had the chance to try a Versys yet, but I bet KawasakiVersys.com will be a good source to get reviews from people who have.
I know a few Versys owners that really, really enjoy their bikes. If you ever get a chance to try one out, I would do it.
I bought a Versys about a month ago after looking for a good performing bike that’s more comfy than the GSXR/CBR/YZ… bikes.
It’s a great bike. The motor is very smooth and has a lot of roll-on power from very low revs. It handles well and it’s very comfortable.
I purchased a Versy in the spring of 2007 and thus far I am quite pleased with it.
The only problem with the bike has been a buzzing around the fairing at 3-4000 rpm (which I understand is a known problem).
The bike is comfortable, performs well, offers excellent fuel economy and is overall quite enjoyable to ride.

I had a buzzing also, found a bolt missing in the front right farring. Had dealer put one in and no more noise.
check to see all bolts are tight.

They are definitely a pretty versatile machine. Not the sportiest thing ever, but no slouch either.
I wonder if the picture is a photoshop picture or you can really get that fast with ice on the road
hey do you know whats the best tires for the versys??
Thanks for the Kawasaki Versys reference. Good stuff. Nice picture of the Versys in your post. Regarding Versys tire upgrades, see the lastest post at kawi.com, a new Kawasaki Motorcycle Blog.
