Rare photos of beautifully restored vintage motorcycles

I shot these photos at Græsted Veterantræf 2009. Some of these vintage motorcycles is restored to a rare perfection that they are probably better taken care of than when they left the factory floor.
There’s something about them with all their knobs and handles that appeals to me. But the whole restoration to 100% originality and all that is a bit too obsessive for me. I wouldn’t be able to avoid setting a few of my own touches here and there if it was me. But I do admire the patience and dedication these guys have. They sure build some awesome motorcycles.
Great photos! I love these old bikes, always makes the largest crowds at any motorcycle gathering.
really dig that cafe racer!
Great shots. My favorite is the last one. I’m amazed at the tires and wheels. I think I’ve seen fatter tires on mountain bikes.
I love your site Jesper, keep these great posts coming. You always find such interesting stuff. I try to visit Helmet-hair at least once or twice a week.
